
Global Cornet, a company specializing in electronic beam steering satellite antennas, signed an agreement for cooperation in military satellite antenna technology at the International Defense Exhibition held in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The exhibition is a representative event of the Vietnamese defense satellite industry, and a large number of cutting-edge defense technologies in the fields of ground, air, and missiles were unveiled. Global Cornet opened up new possibilities in the defense industry through cooperation with the local OSB Group.
At this event, Global Cornet signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with OSB Group and agreed to cooperate in the fields of ground satellite vehicle antennas and portable electronic tracking ESA antennas.
The two companies also discussed the possibility of cooperation in various defense technologies, such as naval antennas for ships and antennas for drones, and decided to establish a long-term cooperation system.
OSB Group CEO Nguyen Hong Son said, “Global Cornet’s technology has already been verified through the POC (Proof of Concept) test last year,” and evaluated, “In particular, the ‘Flip42’ for manpacks is a product optimized for the military operation environment with a lightweight design, automatic beam tracking function, and built-in battery.”
He added that Global Cornet’s technology is a suitable solution to meet the needs of Vietnam’s defense satellite industry.
The exhibition was held for four days from December 19 to 22, and a total of over 260,000 visitors, including about 12,000 military personnel, visited the event.
The military equipment on display included 3,000 military vehicles, 20 aircraft, and 5 missiles, demonstrating the latest technology in the defense industry.
Global Cornet, which participated in the event, is strengthening its international position by establishing a bridgehead for entering the Vietnamese defense industry market through its unique technology and cooperation with local companies.
