Efforts to bring Vietnamese brands deeper into the global digital value chain

On the morning of September 25, 2025, the inauguration ceremony of the Vietnam National Pavilion was solemnly held at the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE 2025) in Hangzhou, China.

This is the largest e-commerce event in China in 2025, gathering thousands of enterprises, organizations, and top experts in digital technology and e-commerce from many countries and territories.

Attending the inauguration ceremony of the Vietnam National Pavilion at GDTE 2025 were Mr. Nguyễn Thế Tùng – Consul General of Vietnam in Shanghai, China; the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade; the delegation from Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, led by Mr. Liao Kunming – Mayor of Huzhou; along with a large number of leaders from regulatory agencies, trade promotion organizations, and businesses from both Vietnam and China.

The event marked an important milestone in the effort to bring Vietnamese brands deeper into global digital value chains, while also opening up new business cooperation opportunities in one of the world’s largest e-commerce markets.

This is the second time Vietnam has organized a National Pavilion at GDTE. The Pavilion brings together 16 Vietnamese enterprises and is designed as a modern and dynamic trade hub, showcasing Vietnam’s key achievements, products, and services in the fields of digital technology and e-commerce. These include software solutions, artificial intelligence (AI) applications for business management and optimization; e-commerce platforms with the ability to expand markets and support online exports; and international logistics services ensuring fast and efficient cross-border transportation.

Visiting the Vietnam Pavilion at GDTE 2025 means exploring valuable cooperation opportunities, where businesses, investors, and international partners can directly access: cutting-edge technologies reflecting Vietnam’s advanced digital transformation trends; effective solutions that meet global business demands; and rich potential for collaboration under the overarching message: “Made in Vietnam, Made for the World.”

The Expo will run until September 29, 2025. During the event, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency will concurrently organize surveys, networking sessions, direct meetings, and field visits with many potential partners in China’s leading digital technology and e-commerce sectors, including Alibaba, TikTok, Ant Group, Wuchan, and others.
